Kate read one day that some experts believe the word "Noel" is a shortening of the phrase "Now All Is Well." Even if this is not accurate, Kate was touched by the sentiment that Christmas is about a world that was once sick and suffering made well by the birth and ultimate sacrifice of Jesus.
